About Chinese Cultural Program for Children
Serving the Columbia University and New York City community for over 45 years.
Founded in 1972, Chinese Cultural Program for Children (CCPC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promote community participation, education, and leadership, to foster cultural exchange and awareness. Mandarin Chinese language classes are offered weekly to children ages 5 – 15 years old, where parent participation is highly encouraged, as this sends a message to our children that attending Mandarin studies classes is not just about learning Chinese, but also an act of learning about community, cooperation, and a sharing of a Chinese culture in America. It is our hope that parental support helps to build active learning for our children and perpetuates positive relationships between families and our community.
